About the show
The Apple of Truth is a bi-weekly podcast that covers every episode of Dirk Gently, where we try to figure out the web of sexy coinci-dink and learn how everything and nothing is connected.
Beware! There will be swearing, poking fun at religion, general overabundance of fangirling and probably pointless discussions, but since we have shitloads of fun with this, we hope you can laugh with us.

Episode 62: TAOT Lucifer S4E02
May 19th, 2021 | 1 hr 5 mins
So apperently those extra 5 minutes on Netflix mean we will from now on record about 5 minutes longer episodes! Out of which we this time probably spent 4:59mins talking about the sexual tension between Chloe, Luci and The Axe.
Lina finally admits to herself, she is a Deckerstar shipper, and Vero makes a Star Wars joke (not appreciated by Lina btw). We share excitement about some of Chloe's choices and empathise with Lucifer on many levels. THIS IS A GOOD ONE, FRIENDS! -
Episode 61: TAOT Lucifer S4E01
May 12th, 2021 | 1 hr 5 mins
Everything is most definitely not okay! We have so many emotions, opinions AND QUESTIONS in this pretty amazing season opener.
In good old classic TAOT tradition, we have some disagreements, Lina has a few rants but we also praise both Lauren German and Chloe for their respective performances and also create some pretty interesting theories - if we may say so ourselves.
Season 4, here we come, you have our attention! -
Episode 60: TAOT Lucifer Summoning E3
May 5th, 2021 | 1 hr 30 mins
In summoning episode 3, we apparently decided to match the lenght of the season. We talk about things related to the season, we share our opinions, we share some feedback, Lina recites Faust in German.. You know, the regular stuff. We do drink a lot this time round, so please, don't be too upset with us, if our English doesn't always make sense.
WATCH OUT FOR SPOILER PART! As per usual, it is devided by dumb song AND an actual music and it starts at 1:20:20! -
Episode 59: TAOT Lucifer S3E25
April 28th, 2021 | 1 hr 52 secs
We really enjoyed this episode, such a wonderful thing. But we would not be us, if we didn't still find stuff to complain about!
So join us for ponderings about where this would have gone originally, wrong and right assumptions about RayRay, Vero being right, Lina having feels, praising for various characters, real life connections to ourselves, repeat music and an utterly unnecessary but very interesting debate about wooshing noises. -
Episode 58: TAOT Lucifer S3E26
April 21st, 2021 | 1 hr 13 mins
The alternative universe requires an alternative coverage! We welcomed Mike Schubert, from Potterless podcast, to help us decipher, how does this nugget work for firsttimers.
We had great time comparing notes, chatting about Fast&Furious, Tom Eliss's work out routines, candy crush, Die Hard and much more. -
Episode 57: TAOT Lucifer S3E24
April 14th, 2021 | 1 hr 2 mins
It. Is. Time. Time for the Season 3 Finale! Time for so many emotions! Time to reminisce, agree and argue.
And mostly it is time for us to really appreciate our beloved characters, feel with and for them and wonder, how horrible it must have been, back in the day, before Lucifer got picked up for its 4th season.
Join us for this emotional rollercoaster and if you happen to listen to it on release day, share your thoughts and feelings with us via [email protected] so we may talk about it in our third Summoning Episode! -
Episode 56: TAOT Lucifer S3E23
April 7th, 2021 | 1 hr 10 mins
Behold! Our longest episode yet! Why, you ask? Because even though Vero is possibly still in denial about it, terrible things has happened and we had a lot of emotions to work through. On the upside, we got a well deserved KISS, so who are we to complain, really? Well.. We are us. It's what we do. Enjoy!

Episode 55: TAOT Lucifer S3E22
March 31st, 2021 | 1 hr 8 mins
It's been a while since the two of us watched such different episodes! We went into this expecting to be in agreement with pretty much everything and ended up seeing different options, ways and theories at any possible moment.
But we both LOVED this episode. So strap in for some wild rides, so SO much Charlotte and Dan appreciation and some pretty harsh views regarding a few of our characters. -
Episode 54: TAOT Lucifer S3E21
March 24th, 2021 | 59 mins 58 secs
This whole episode is one big parallel. From the ballet, throught the case of the week to the actual metaplot. The biggest upset for us was Ella this week, so get ready for the unheard.. ELLA CRITICISM! To balance it out, there is a lot of praise for Charlotte, Dan and, shockingly from Lina's side, Chloe!
So enjoy our differences over Lucifer's attitude and paralles on parallels on parallels and don't forget to send us your feedback! -
Episode 53: TAOT Lucifer S3E20
March 17th, 2021 | 1 hr 3 mins
Oh my, what an episode this one is: Lina being against all the horniness only to turn horny herself, Vero indulging in her conspiracy brain, a cut scene that makes Charlotte so much more understandable, all the Bones tangents and tidbits Vero could ever want, so much confusion about the Mark of Cain for Lina and a lengthy discussion about selfishness at the very end.

Episode 52: TAOT Lucifer S3E19
March 10th, 2021 | 1 hr 4 mins
We are in a world of hurt after this episode. Maze gets kicked to the curb by Lucifer, while Chloe tries to help her out, Pierce strengenths the bond between himself and Chloe by emotional manipulation and Ames is making one mistake after another with Charlotte.
We both lost it with anger for different reasons in this episode, so please, listen and let us know if we missed anything else, that's infuriating. -
Episode 51: TAOT Lucifer S3E18
March 3rd, 2021 | 59 mins 46 secs
After a few weeks of endless debates, we actually chatted for an appropriate amount of time, o you get to enjoy all the random silliness, that usually ends up on the cutting floor or in the believer bonus..
To Lina's displeasure, this is a Cain episode. He goes on a journey down memory lane while investigating a serial killer. Who to Vero's pleasure is played by Andrew Leeds aka Christopher Pelant aka THE WORST PERSON EVER.
Dan is being a treasure as always, Charlotte is facing another challenge because Ames is the worst and Linda is just trying to help. -
Episode 50: TAOT Lucifer S3E17
February 24th, 2021 | 1 hr 1 min
We had so many emotions and opinions in this one, so join us once again on a rather explicit episode with f-bombs and talking shit about situations, scenes and characters.
Lina continues on her Charlotte fan-trail, Vero sees more depth in scenes than should be possible, both praise the duet and we help each other figure out small things we each missed this episode. -
Episode 49: TAOT Lucifer S3E16
February 17th, 2021 | 1 hr 3 mins
If we were naming our episodes, this one would be The episode of f bombs. Emotions are running high regarding both our opinions and the happenings inside the ep. Vero manages to sneak in a whole bunch puns, we talk a quite a bit about selfishness and Lina gets to lose her mind over Charlotte all over again.
Through the unconventional portrait of Abel, little more backstory on Cain, absolute digust over Ames and high praise for Luci, Linda and Charlotte, we have a slightly longer episode, filled with passionate debates. Enjoy! -
Episode 48: TAOT Lucifer S3E15
February 10th, 2021 | 58 mins 32 secs
We had so much fun this episode! We were both really into it, we both had takes the other did not see or expect, we both got fooled with different parts and really likec it, we both found plenty of things to self identify.

Episode 47: TAOT Lucifer S3E14
February 3rd, 2021 | 1 hr 1 min
The Episode name suggested we might be talking about Ames, the cold open insinuated an Ella-centric story. How surprised were we when we got a weird mix of both, while having none at all.
For the most part we follow Luci's frustration with Ames, while we search for Ella's brother Jay. But if you ask us who the real star of the episode was (obviously next to soft Luci and Charlotte, who is always a star when she's around), it was the fight between Cain and Ames. Hands down, guns blazing, bottles stabbing genious of an arch.
So please, enjoy.
